A large portion of ramps are deemed unsafe and removed by Swanage Town Council who then resurfaced that area of the park and have since pledged £15k towards new ramps
Local volunteers form Swanage Skatepark Community Project (SSCP) with Lorna Haines as Chairperson
SSCP runs a successful public user consultation with 170 survey responses to find out what our community wants from Swanage Skatepark
SSCP joins Swanage and Purbeck Development Trust becoming a registered charity & a design brief is shared with park builders to set a fundraising target for the project - £225k
SSCP successfully secure funding to run 2x community days at Swanage Skatepark. The first is scheduled for 1st June 2024.
Community Crowdfunding campaign goes live. If we hit our £20K target Sport England will provide 50% match funding of £10k
