To celebrate the new build and share the excitement, we're running a skatepark photo competition.
This isn’t about big tricks or daring stunts - we’re looking for photos that capture the atmosphere, energy, and life of people using the new ramps. Prizes will be awarded based on the quality of images not necessarily the tricks being done - so everyone can get involved.
How to enter
You can submit your photo by:
Tagging @swanageskateparkcommunityproject on Instagram
Tagging us on Facebook
Sending the photo to us directly via DM
When you submit a photo we will ask you to reply giving your consent for the image to be submitted to the competition and used on the SSCP social media channels. Under 18's will need an adult to give permission on their behalf. But don't worry, it's easy. The competition closes 1st April 2026.
What you can win
A panel from the Swanage Skatepark Community Project will pick three winning photos, based on:
The quality of the image
How well it shows off the new ramps in use
Three winners will receive a Swanage Skatepark Community Project t-shirt in white or black. Winners will be contacted through the platform they submitted on and will have a month to reply.
So grab your camera (or just your phone), head down to the skatepark, and show us your best.
We can’t wait to see what you capture!
