REBUILDING SWANAGE SKATEPARK TO GIVE OUR YOUNG PEOPLE THE OPPORTUNITIES THEY DESERVE   

Our Community helped us raise £20,000 

Donations from a successful Community Crowdfunder campaign was the first step at getting our fundraising rolling. Our community donated £14,000 enabling us to unlock £6,000 in match funding from Sport England!

Swanage Skatepark exists thanks to the determination of Lorna Haines

Over the past 20 years, Lorna's raised £150,000 to provide Swanage with a skatepark.

In 2023 a large portion of ramps became unsafe and were removed by Swanage Town Council without enough funds for replacement. So once again, Lorna is fundraising for Swanage Skatepark and will be running the North Dorset Village Marathon and Relay on the 5th May 2024 in support of the skatepark.

Swanage Skatepark Community Day!

Thanks to funding from #Willdoes, King Ramps are working with SSCP to host a day of free beginner lessons, workshops, pro demonstrations and comps for Scooter, BMX and Skateboard. We can’t wait to see everyone there!
