We're fundraising to rebuild Swanage Skatepark

Swanage Skatepark Community Project began fundraising in April 2024. We hit our first fundraising milestone of £75,000 and completed a Phase 1 build in January 2026.

We're now fundraising for Phase 2! We've already secured £52,000 towards the £80,000 target.

Phase 2 will consist of lower height ramps in the smaller and currently empty section of the skatepark. These ramps will improve accessibility for skaters of all ages and abilities and deliver an exciting array of new features.

Our Progress

In July 2026 we carried out a survey to understand what impact the new Phase 1 ramps are having on our community:

  • 64% are using the skatepark more than before the new ramps were in place.

  • 72% have learned new tricks and developed new skills.

  • 61% are spending more time outdoors than before.

  • 61% are more physically active than before.
